Ban Hat Lek Trat Province
This market is a source of Cambodians to buy cereal crops sold per Koh Kong. Had to have only a small market in the morning at about 7:00 to 8:30 pm and also cheaper products coming from Cambodia such as appliances, glasses, perfumes.

Ban Hat Lek is the location of the southern-most border crossing between Thailand and Cambodia. Its Cambodian counterpart is Cham Yeam, about 8km from Koh Kong.

You’ll find a bay where a pier for fishing boats is at this place. The beach is on Cambodian side where you need to cross the border for about 200 meters. The beautiful beach is just behind Kho Kong International Resort Club, filled with 1-km white sand and is paralleled with the line of coconut trees. Another interesting point for tourists is the Navy Memorial of Ban Hat Lek, which people built to be the memorial for solidariy and for commemorating those who sacrificed there lives in the war with the Cambodian in 1966 and 1975. Just beside the Navy Memorial stands the place to commemorate the Great King Taksin.
Hat Lek is the name of the border. The only things here are a few shacks selling drinks and possibly a guesthouse. If you’re desperate for a break from border hassles, head 15km further to Ban Khlong Yai, which has nice seafood but no beach.
