Flower Market and Museum Siam
Museum Siam Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River just a few hundred metres away from the Grand Palace. It tries to answer the question, “Who are the people of Siam?” Through a series of chronological exhibitions of Thai history. Most of the exhibits are interactive using modern technology such as touch screen monitors.
The highlight of the Museum of Siam is creating a new experience, especially, for children and young people. It creates a sense of knowing their neighbors and friends. The modern technology and creative activities make leaner history and stories more interesting than before. There are the Permanent Exhibitions, Temporary Exhibitions, and Learning Activities with Creativity. The idea of Museum of Siam is joyously in Thai. This idea is the heart of the Museum of the National Curriculum. In the Museum of Siam, it has many rooms such as The Roong Room. This room has a long panoramic screen for choosing a movies to watch about Thai’s history.
Information for visitor
The museum of Siam is open every Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm and it closes on Monday. The tickets for admission have different prices. A ticket costs 50 baht for students (15 years and below). For Thai adults the price is 100 baht, and for foreign adults it is 300 baht.
