Li-Let Community Guides Group was set up and developed into an eco-tourism attraction. The area comprises 7,000 rai of land and over 100 canals. There is also a variety of historic sites in the community to visit. The local product here are the Thai sweetmeat made of flour coconut and sugar and the seafood.
• Boating amidst the mangrove forests and canals to study the eco-system, watch cultural presentations such as Li-ke Pa play and historical sites, visit the community’s local occupation groups such as the Nipa Palm Products Group and shrimp paste making group, observe the local fishermen’s way of life
Around June – July, to participate in the “Suad Khlong” tradition of making merits to the spirits of the canals. Another suggested time to visit this community is around August-September, to watch the welcoming ritual for the locals’ ancestral spirits, followed by a farewell ritual 15 days later.
